Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, cancellations and refunds are handled.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or limited. Where applicable law gives you rights that are more favorable than this policy, those rights will apply.

1. Standard Returns

We offer a 14-day return period for eligible purchases.

For orders containing multiple items delivered separately, the applicable return or statutory cancellation/withdrawal period generally begins when you receive the last item.

To request a return, cancellation or withdrawal, contact us at:

Email: infotankyi@gmail.com

Please contact us before sending any item back so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.

The return address may vary depending on the product, fulfilment location and applicable return arrangements.

2. Statutory Consumer Rights

Our standard return policy does not replace or restrict statutory consumer rights.

For qualifying online purchases, UK consumers generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to notify us that they wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.

EU consumers generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for qualifying online purchases, followed by a further 14 days to send the goods back.

These statutory rights take priority over our standard return conditions.

3. Standard Return Conditions

For voluntary returns that are not being made under a statutory consumer right:

  • The item should be unused and unworn.

  • The item should be returned in its original condition where reasonably possible.

  • The item should not be damaged, stained or altered.

  • Original tags and labels should remain attached where applicable.

  • Accessories and components supplied with the item should be included.

  • You should provide your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase.

  • The return request should be made within the applicable standard return period.

These conditions do not override statutory consumer rights.

4. Return Shipping Costs

For standard change-of-mind returns, the customer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

Unless we have expressly agreed to provide a prepaid return service, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return postage.

For EU statutory withdrawals, consumers generally bear the direct cost of returning goods where the trader informed them of this obligation before purchase.

For UK statutory cancellations, return costs may similarly be the customer's responsibility where the applicable requirements have been met.

Return postage costs should be reasonable and appropriate for the return method used.

Where applicable law requires us to bear return costs, including for qualifying faulty, defective, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods, the customer will not be responsible for those costs.

5. Return Address

Because products may be fulfilled from different locations, the applicable return address will be provided after you contact us.

Do not send goods to the supplier, manufacturer, warehouse or any address shown on the original packaging unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

We will provide the appropriate return instructions for your order.

Customers should review the applicable return arrangements and costs before sending goods back.

6. UK Statutory Cancellation Rights

If you are a UK consumer purchasing qualifying goods online, you generally have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

For multiple items delivered separately, the applicable cancellation period generally begins when you receive the last item.

You may handle the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where permitted by law, you may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund the applicable payments in accordance with the applicable legal requirements, including standard delivery charges where required by law.

7. EU Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union and purchase qualifying goods from us online, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

For multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when you receive the last item.

If the deadline falls on a non-working day, the applicable deadline may be extended to the next working day.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you generally have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

8. Handling of Goods During Statutory Returns

When exercising a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right, you may handle the goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Where permitted by law, we may make a deduction from a refund for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.

We will not reject a statutory return merely because goods have been opened or handled where such handling is permitted by applicable law.

9. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Conforming Goods

If an item arrives faulty, defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the order or applicable legal requirements, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the problem

  • Photographs or video where reasonably appropriate

We may request information reasonably necessary to assess the issue.

Faulty or non-conforming goods are not treated as ordinary change-of-mind returns.

Where applicable law requires a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy, we will provide the applicable legal remedy.

Where applicable law requires us to bear return shipping costs for faulty, defective, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods, those costs will be handled in accordance with the law.

For EU consumers, qualifying defective goods are generally protected by a minimum two-year legal guarantee, subject to applicable national rules and exceptions.

10. Swimming Goggles and Hygiene

Swimming goggles are not automatically excluded from statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights merely because they are personal-use products.

Where applicable law provides an exception for particular sealed goods that become unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, that exception will apply only where the legal requirements for the exception are satisfied.

We will not rely on a hygiene exception where applicable law does not permit it.

11. Sale, Discounted and Clearance Items

Sale, discounted and clearance products remain subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.

A product being sold at a reduced price does not by itself remove statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund or faulty-goods rights.

Any “final sale” or similar promotional wording does not override statutory consumer rights.

12. Non-Returnable Items

Some products may be excluded from statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights where a specific legal exception applies.

Examples can include certain personalised or custom-made goods and certain sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Any such exception applies only where permitted by applicable law.

For standard voluntary returns, goods may be refused where they fall outside the applicable voluntary return conditions, subject always to statutory rights.

13. Exchanges

We do not normally offer direct exchanges.

If you require a different product, you may return the original product where eligible and place a new order.

This does not affect any statutory right you may have to a repair, replacement, refund, price reduction or other remedy.

14. Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Other Charges

Depending on the destination country, an order may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country or a third party.

Where such charges are applicable, responsibility for them will depend on the delivery terms, destination country and applicable law.

Customers should review the applicable tax, customs and import requirements before placing an international order.

We do not automatically reimburse customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges or similar third-party charges incurred in connection with an order.

Where applicable law requires us to refund or reimburse a particular charge, we will do so.

For a standard change-of-mind return, any customs, import or third-party charges that are not legally refundable by us are not part of the product purchase price and will not be reimbursed by us.

15. Refunds

For standard eligible returns, refunds will normally be processed after the returned goods have been received and checked.

Where a refund is required under statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights, we will process the refund within the applicable legal timeframe.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods are returned or you provide evidence that they have been sent back.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless another method has been agreed.

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to make the refunded funds available.

16. Original Delivery Charges

Where a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right applies, we will refund the cost of standard delivery where required by applicable law.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery option offered, the additional amount may not be refundable where permitted by law.

For voluntary returns outside statutory rights, original delivery charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

17. Returns Without Prior Contact

Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return instructions and address.

Goods sent to an incorrect or unauthorized address may be delayed while we identify and locate them.

This requirement does not prevent you from exercising a statutory right that cannot legally be made conditional upon prior approval.

18. Order Cancellations Before Fulfilment

You may contact us to request cancellation before your order has been fulfilled.

We will make reasonable efforts to process eligible cancellation requests received before fulfilment.

Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, the applicable cancellation, return or withdrawal rights will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer right.

19. Return Processing

Returned goods may be inspected after receipt.

For voluntary returns, the applicable return conditions must be satisfied.

Where goods have been handled beyond what is permitted under applicable statutory rights, we may make a lawful deduction for diminished value where permitted by law.

No restocking fee is charged.

20. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or limited.

Consumer protection laws vary between countries.

Where applicable law provides rights or remedies that are more favorable than this policy, those rights and remedies will apply.
